Kanyadaan is a story that revolves around ‘Sakhi’ a very lovable, emotional who is called to Mumbai after been brought at her uncles place in a far off village.
Sakhi steps in her new house with a hope of starting her life on a new node. But her dreams are thrashed when she comes to know that her marriage is nothing but a compromise and she is now a part of a family which is from a very different background. Being destroyed from circumstances surrounding her, she still fights back and stands tall against all odds for her existence and even steps ahead to even save her family.
