Gangadhar Pant is a retired Ticket Collector. During his tenure he has collected a huge sum and has managed to build a bungalow in Goregaon-Mumbai. Gangadhar named his son ‘Shreemant’ (Rich), just for a reason that whatever be his economical condition his child will be called Shreemant.
Shreemant is married to Anuja who was earlier working but after her honeymoon she got the taste of not working and thus decided to discontinue with the Job. Shreemant has a youger sibling Abhiman who always tries to take money from his brother by fooling him with some or the other reason.
Shreemant though comes from a well to do family his fate is not so supportive. His work is always hung due to some or the other problem, majorly due to his principles.
His mother is not so supportive towards him as he has married to the girl of his choice, His Father is over dependent on him, his brother always fools him and his wife always underestimates him.
This story is about Shrimant sandwiched between his family and society, this is the story about various characters that he comes across in his day to life and funny situations created due to working system at various offices he visits.
